Culprit – Daily Detective Game

Every day at midnight a new mystery in the night-time Rome of Culprit. Six suspects, a single culprit. The innocent tell the truth, the culprit lies. It's up to you to find out who.

ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS
• Question the suspects: where they were, whom they saw, who was with them.
• Every case has a par, the fewest questions that are enough: the closer you get, the more stars you earn.
• Cross suspects off in your notebook, even by hand with a finger or a stylus.
• Stuck? The inspector suggests which question to ask and whom to ask, never the answer.
• Accuse the culprit with the evidence that nails them: without evidence the accusation is dismissed.

ONE CASE A DAY
Early in the week cases are easy, then they get harder towards the weekend. On Sunday there is the long case: a floor plan, pawns to move room by room and a whole evening to piece together.

THE ANIMATED COMIC
Once the case is closed the arrest becomes an animated comic, with music and a narrator, and the newspaper runs the culprit's mugshot on the front page. Share them, or send friends the emoji grid, spoiler-free.

THE LEGENDARY ENDING
Every now and then a case is legendary: the comic ends on a one-of-a-kind video scene, your detective gets a page of gold of their own and the paper prints a special edition. Solve it on its day and you get a numbered card to keep in your album.

YOUR DETECTIVE
Pick the name and look of your noir investigator, or have yourself drawn from your photo: you become the detective of the comic, with your own animated clips.

FRIENDS AND LEADERBOARD
With an account (e-mail link or Google) your progress follows you on every device and every day you get a version of the case all your own. Add friends with your detective code, see how they are doing and gift them a star. Climb the monthly and all-time leaderboards. If you like, a reminder tells you when the new case is out.
