Users praise the add-on for its good visuals, simpler approach than Dark Reader, and ability to cover sites Dark Reader misses, plus theming options. However, frequent issues include color inversion that can render pages unreadable (like Google Docs), stability problems and Firefox compatibility breakages, and a cumbersome UX with a global toggle and manual include/exclude lists. It works well enough, but it sorely needs the ability to whitelist certain sites (gmail) as well as "dark-list" certain sites so that they are always dark mode. I'd also like the ability to run it on a per-tab basis. My current issue is that I want dark mode on on one site on the left hand side of my screen and dark mode off on the right hand side of the screen and that's not possible. Currently, it's simply universally "on" or "off."
