Features & Capabilities

One part of a secure password is, that you don't use the same password on different services, but use individual passwords every time.

Because you probably use dozens of different services, it is not possible to remember so much different passwords. The solution is to use a password manager like this addon.

The problem with most password managers is, that you want to use the passwords from different machines. Some password managers solve this problem by putting the passwords in the cloud.

This Addon deviate a password for a domain from a master password. All you have to do is to choose a master password and you get your individual passwords. If you install the addon on a second computer you will get the same passwords for the same master passwords. So there is no need to put your passwords in the cloud.

You can either type the master password any time or safe it into the memory or the disk.

Is CyberPassword Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

CyberPassword does not require any sensitive permissions.
