PasswordGen is a single purpose password generator extension for Firefox browser. By user pre-specified preferences, this tool will generate same password on same domains every time. However on the other domains, generated password will be every time different. Users no longer have to remember all their different passwords what they use. With this extension users have and use only one master password for all domains and PasswordGen will generate unique password on every domain for them.

  • You can use and manage different rules of generating for every domain individually

  • All preferences and rules of generating could be exported or imported
  • NO PASSWORDS ARE STORED
How to use it: 1. Go to some sign-in page 2. Click to G icon on toolbar 3. Enter your master password 4. PasswordGen will generate domain-specific password 5. Generated password will be automatically stored in clipboard 6. Paste your generated password into password field on page you want to sign-in

Note: The intent of this addon is to use and remember single password for all domains. It is recommended to use strong and long enough master passphrase.
