Overview

Features & Capabilities

A tasting notebook that treats wine and coffee as the same hobby.

Most of us taste something excellent, mean to remember it, and then can't recall the producer three weeks later. PourTastingLog is the fix: a fast, structured place to write down what was in the glass while it's still in front of you.

SIX AXES, NOT ONE NUMBER
Every entry is scored on aroma, body, acidity, sweetness, finish and balance. Those six sliders turn "I liked it" into a shape you can actually compare — and the star rating stays separate, so your gut call and your technical read never get tangled up. A hand-drawn palate radar shows each entry against your own running average, so you can see at a glance whether a bottle was really unusual or just a good night.

A FLAVOUR VOCABULARY THAT TRAVELS
Eighty-two descriptors across twelve families — red fruit, dark fruit, citrus and stone, tropical, floral, sweet and sugar, cocoa and roast, nut and bake, spice, earth and wood, green and herb, dairy and ferment. Tag what you actually found instead of hunting for words. The same wheel powers the Guide tab, so if you're not sure what "graphite" means in a Bordeaux, it's one tap away.

WINE AND COFFEE, SIDE BY SIDE
Twenty-five built-in regions, from Yirgacheffe and Nyeri to Barossa and the Mosel, plus brewing and serving methods for both. Origin and method suggestions fill in with a tap. Filter the journal by beverage, search across every field, shortlist the ones worth buying again, and swipe to remove what you don't need.

CHARTS THAT EARN THEIR PLACE
Tastings per month. Your scoring trend across recent entries. The split between wine and coffee, with a separate palate radar for each so you can see how differently you score them. Your most-used descriptors, ranked. The regions you keep returning to.

MILESTONES, QUIETLY
Eleven of them — first entry, five entries, twenty-five descriptors, eight regions, a full week's streak. They mark progress without turning the hobby into a game.

TWELVE SHORT GUIDES
Practical notes on smelling twice, reading acidity, timing a finish, decanting, serving temperature, tannin versus bitterness, brew ratios, diagnosing a sour cup, and why beans need a week off roast.

COMPLETELY OFFLINE
No account. No sign-in. No sync. No servers. No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no network requests of any kind. Your notes are written to this device and stay there — the app works exactly the same in airplane mode. Nine sample entries are included on first launch so the charts mean something immediately; delete any of them whenever you like.

Free, with nothing to buy.
