Cookie AutoDelete is a powerful browser extension designed to enhance your privacy by automatically deleting cookies from tabs once they are closed or discarded. Inspired by Self Destructing Cookies, this extension allows you to whitelist trusted domains, preserving their cookies indefinitely or until the browser restarts. It supports container tabs (Firefox 53+), enabling cookie management across multiple contexts.

Users can easily manage their whitelist and greylist settings, import/export configurations, and manually trigger cookie cleanups from a convenient popup interface. Additional features include the ability to clear all cookies for a specific domain, view the number of cookies per site, and support for local storage cleaning (Firefox 58+). The extension requests necessary permissions thoughtfully and does not modify privacy settings—focusing solely on managing cookies.
