ContextBridge

Switch AI tools without losing your progress. Capture, compress, and transfer conversations between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Copilot, Grok, Poe, and more.

Features & Capabilities

Switch AI tools. Not your progress.

Moving between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or DeepSeek usually means starting over — re-explaining your project, re-stating your requirements, losing every decision you made.

ContextBridge fixes that.

Capture your conversation from any AI tool, compress it into a structured Context Card, and inject it into another AI assistant — so you continue exactly where you left off.

How It Works

1. Capture Click once to capture your current AI conversation. ContextBridge extracts your goals, decisions, constraints, requirements, and key discussion points.

2. Compress Using your own Mistral API key, ContextBridge converts long conversations into a compact, structured Context Card — only what matters, nothing that doesn't.

3. Inject Open any supported AI tool, inject the Context Card, and continue without missing a beat.

What's in a Context Card?

Each Context Card preserves:

  • Goal — the primary objective of the conversation
  • Decisions — important conclusions and choices made
  • Constraints — requirements and limitations that must carry forward
  • Key Discussion Points — the most important ideas and takeaways
Supported AI Platforms

Works across all major AI assistants, including:

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • Perplexity
  • DeepSeek
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • Grok
  • Poe
  • Le Chat
Example Workflows

Research → Development Research a topic in Perplexity, then continue implementation in Claude — with full context intact.

Planning → Execution Build a project plan in ChatGPT, then hand it off to Gemini without re-explaining a single requirement.

Model Comparison Move the same conversation between Claude and ChatGPT to compare outputs side-by-side.

Privacy First

ContextBridge is built with a local-first, privacy-focused design:

  • No account required
  • No activity tracking
  • No analytics or telemetry
  • All data stored locally in your browser
  • Your API key stays on your device
  • You use your own Mistral API key — your data never passes through our servers
Perfect For
  • Developers — move debugging sessions, architecture discussions, and coding tasks between AI tools
  • Founders — transfer product planning, market research, and business discussions
  • Students — continue research and learning conversations across different AI assistants
  • Writers — move drafts, outlines, and creative projects between models
  • AI Power Users — use the best AI model for each task without losing context
Your AI conversations should be portable. ContextBridge makes AI workflows faster, smarter, and more connected.
Capture → Compress → Inject → Continue Anywhere

Is ContextBridge Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

ContextBridge requires a lot of sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.

Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.

ContextBridge is recently added, and hasn't been around long enough for us to gather enough data to accurately assess its risk level.
