Features & Capabilities

Multi Frame AI Chat — Compare every AI side by side

Multi Frame AI Chat puts multiple AI assistants in a single browser tab so you can ask one question and watch them all answer at once. Instead of juggling tabs and copy-pasting the same prompt into ChatGPT, then Claude, then Gemini, you type it once and it's broadcast to every open panel simultaneously. Then you compare the answers next to each other and keep the best one.

What it does

  • One prompt → every AI. Type your question in the shared prompt bar at the bottom and hit send. It's delivered to all visible panels at the same time, each in its own real chat session.
  • True side-by-side comparison. See how different models tackle the same task — coding, writing, research, reasoning — without switching tabs or losing context.
  • Your own accounts, your own sessions. Each panel loads the real AI website, so you're signed in with your existing account, your history, your settings, and your subscription tier (Plus/Pro/etc.). Nothing is proxied through a third party.
Supported AI services (20)

ChatGPT · Claude · Gemini · Grok · Perplexity · DeepSeek · Microsoft Copilot · Qwen · Mistral · HuggingChat · Google AI Studio · Manus · MiniMax · T3 Chat · Kimi · LMArena · Z.AI (GLM) · ChatSutra · Yupp · Google Search

Any panel can switch to any service from a dropdown, so you choose exactly which models you want to compare in each slot.

Flexible layouts

  • 1 to 12 panels at once — go from a focused 2-up comparison to a wall of models.
  • Horizontal or vertical orientation, with a configurable column count (1–6) for grid arrangements.
  • Drag-and-drop to reorder panels, and resizable dividers to give the model you care about more room.
  • Per-panel zoom to fit more on screen or enlarge a single answer.
  • Active-only loading: hidden panels are fully unloaded, so they use no memory and don't receive prompts — only what's on screen is live.
  • Your layout, panel choices, sizes, and arrangement are remembered between sessions.
Built for real work
  • File attachments: drag files onto the prompt bar or paste images, and they're attached on send to the services that support it (e.g. Claude, Copilot).
  • Prompt history: every prompt you send is saved locally, along with which models were in each panel and the resulting conversation links — so you can browse past prompts and restore an entire comparison later.
  • New chat button to reset every panel to a fresh conversation at once.
  • Scroll all panels to the bottom in one click to keep long answers aligned.
  • Open in new tab / refresh controls on each panel.
  • Auto-hiding prompt bar (with a pin to keep it open) so answers get maximum screen space; compact headers and toolbar keep the chrome out of your way.
  • Dark and light themes, remembered across sessions.
Privacy
  • No account, no tracking, no data collection. The extension declares zero data collection.
  • All your preferences and prompt history are stored locally in your browser (localStorage + IndexedDB) — nothing is sent to any server operated by this extension.
  • You talk to each AI provider directly, exactly as if you'd opened their site yourself; their own privacy terms apply.
How it works (and good to know)

The AI sites are embedded as panels inside one page. Many sites normally block being embedded, so the extension adjusts the relevant response headers only for the supported AI domains to allow them to load side by side. Because of this:

  • A site may occasionally change its page and need a panel refresh, or an update to the extension.
  • Some login flows or anti-bot checks can behave differently when embedded; if a panel won't sign in, use its "open in new tab" button to log in, then return.
  • File upload support depends on each provider (ChatGPT and Gemini, for example, don't accept files this way — drag those into the panel manually).
Cross-browser

Built on the WebExtensions standard with a single codebase for Firefox and Chromium-based browsers (Manifest V3).
