Context Plus Firefox

Context Plus

Now that we have contextual identities, wouldn't it be nice to move a tab from one identity to another, or from default to a container? I want to do that. Now I can.

Features & Capabilities

Context Plus is a Firefox extension that enhances tab management by allowing you to move or copy tabs between different contextual identities, also known as containers. By right-clicking a tab and selecting 'Move to context', you can seamlessly transfer the tab to another container, or copy it by holding the Ctrl key (available in Firefox 54+). This improves browsing organization especially for users leveraging Firefox's container feature.

Please note that the extension recreates the tab in the new context without replicating its browsing history. Ensure you have privacy.userContext.enabled set to true in about:config for the extension to function correctly. Icons used in the extension are provided by Freepik and Flaticon under Creative Commons BY 3.0 license.
