User Reviews
Pros
- Moves tabs between windows without dragging — fills a missing Firefox feature
- Supports selecting and moving multiple tabs at once
- Simple, focused UI that "does one thing well" and plays nicely with other add‑ons
- Works reliably for users with many windows/virtual desktops and large tab counts
- Clear and easy-to-use compared with other extensions
Cons
- Target window list is hard to use — order is creation-based and names change with the active tab, making windows difficult to identify
- Requires extra clicks/submenus to reach the move option; users want a quicker path or single-menu placement
- No built-in keyboard shortcuts to jump or move tabs to specific windows
- This should be a native Firefox feature (users dislike needing an add‑on for it)

This extension save my day!
I move to Zen Browser, and having hard time moving the tabs to other window on different desktop.. and only this extensions works...
The other extensions sucks.. doesn't work, doesn't list window, broken, etc...

It just randomly fails on you, and it doesn't let you move tabs. You need to either restart your browser, or disable and re-enable the extension, for it to work again. When it works it's good. But 1 star because the product isn't stable.

Is Tab Mover Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
Tab Mover requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
