ZoneCoach is a personal running coach that helps you train in the right heart-rate zones, whether you're prepping for a marathon or just trying to stay fit. The app adapts to your level, learns from your runs, and protects you from overtraining.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

- Adaptive Coach (ACWR). ZoneCoach tracks your Acute/Chronic Workload Ratio — a fancy way of saying "how hard are you training now vs. what your body is used to?" When the ratio drifts into the red zone, the coach automatically recommends easier sessions or a rest day.

- Smart Intervals that learn you. Everyone recovers differently. ZoneCoach measures how fast your heart rate climbs (Tau-on) and drops (Tau-off), then tunes your work/rest durations to your physiology. Already have running data from Garmin, Strava, or Apple Health? Tap "Analyse Kinetics" once and your profile is ready — no need to wait weeks for the coach to learn you.

- Real-time audio coaching. The app gently ducks your music when the coach speaks: "You're in Zone 3", "Pick up the pace", "Ease off". Pick how often you want cues, short commands or full sentences.

- Workout types for every day:
– Free Run: just run, get live zone feedback.
– Interval: high-intensity intervals tuned to your HR kinetics.
– Tempo: lactate-threshold pace, progressive structure.
– Chill Run: easy Zone 2 endurance.
– Adaptive: let the coach decide based on your fatigue and ACWR.

- Health Connect integration. Auto-syncs weight, height, resting HR, and VO₂max. Imports past running sessions from any Health Connect-compatible app so you start with a real baseline.

- BLE heart-rate strap support. Pairs in seconds with any Bluetooth chest strap or arm band. "This is a required accessory — ZoneCoach needs live heart-rate data, from either a BLE strap or a BLE-broadcast-compatible wearable."

- Fitness Score (0-100). A composite of VO₂max, BMI, and HR recovery kinetics. Watch it go up over weeks of consistent training.

PRIVACY FIRST

All training data lives on your device. Heart rate, location, workouts — none of it is collected by us in any central database. The only time data leaves your device is when you actively use the AI Coach with a subscription, and even then we only forward your prompt and recent context to the AI provider with no personal identifiers.
