AI Opponent
The engine is built on PikaFish (GPL-3 open source) with 6 difficulty levels, from beginner to grandmaster.

Board Photo Recognition
Point your camera at a real board and the app reads the pieces, turning an over-the-board game into a digital record. Recognition runs fully on-device: photos are never uploaded or saved.

Live Hints
Keep the camera on the board and get instant suggestions drawn on screen as the position changes. Pinch to zoom the preview, so even a distant board stays readable.

Voice Moves
Just say a move in Chinese notation, e.g. "车九进四", and the app plays it for you. Coordinates are printed around the board so the notation always matches what you see.

Voice Announcements
Captures, check, checkmate and classic tactics such as "马后炮" (cannon behind horse) are announced aloud.

Live Win-Rate Analysis
Win rate, engine evaluation and search depth are shown above the board in real time.

Replay & Move Analysis
Step through the finished game and see how the evaluation changed on every move.

Open Source & Privacy
The whole app is open source under GPL-3 (github.com/zhangfeiyang/QiYan), with no ads, no tracking SDKs and no account required. Almost everything runs offline; only AI analysis and the AI advice chat send the board position and your text to a proxy service for suggestions - never photos. See the privacy policy for details.
