Saw the service nose dive recently. 6 last minute change of car to inconvenient location out of 12 booking in the past 6 months due to sudden "maintenance" issues that required the car to take the weekend off I.e. during peak earning times. Either the company is so badly managed they would take cars off during the peak earning period, or this is targeted.

2026-07-22	Sn*****	Service is quick but you get unnecessary parking ticket charges to your credit card even if the parking was done exactly where the car was found prior or if the demarcations for the parking was not clear from zipcar's end. The company is not based in Toronto or America which means they are unfamiliar with the road safety rules here and the areas here. Proceed at your own risk and with a certain level of caution.
Service is quick but you get unnecessary parking ticket charges to your credit card even if the parking was done exactly where the car was found prior or if the demarcations for the parking was not clear from zipcar's end. 2026-07-14	Ch*****	it was fun while it lasted. like all rental companies, do not have a single issue ever and all will go well. otherwise expect numerous surprise charges if you experience any kind of hardship while renting the vehicle; Including being assaulted by an uber passenger with a police report.

2026-07-13	Ra*****	worst customer service in your life. over the years I've dealt with fees for parking tickets despite being told to park in the next available space when a Zipcar parking spot is taken. I've had Zipcar tow my car away from me with my stuff inside and only offer a credit. after we called the cops and had to rent the car back with our own money to get our stuff. now I'm getting charged for smoking when I can prove I'm not where they claim I am and i had my kids with me both times and I robbed again

2026-07-11	An*****	Expensive for a full day + you have to pay extra per mile driven over 50 miles!! Definitely last resort. Traditional rental companies are much cheaper.
