Identify animals from your photos and keep a wildlife journal of every species you spot. Wildseen is an offline animal identifier and nature journal for birds, mammals and other wildlife: a squirrel in the park, a robin in the garden, a fox by the trail. Snap a photo, the app recognizes the animal and adds the sighting to your collection.

Wildseen identifies birds, mammals and other animals right on your phone, with an AI model trained on wildlife photos. No account, no server, no photo uploads. Once the model is downloaded, animal identification works offline, even deep in the countryside or on a hike with no signal.

Collect stamps
Earn stamps as your nature journal grows: animal groups, family trees and nature's status. Each stamp has three levels to unlock, and the Statistics screen shows your latest stamps and the conservation status of the species you've met.

Share your wildlife photos
Turn a sighting into a shareable image: pick a format, move, zoom and rotate your photo, then share or save it with the date and country.

Private by design
Your sightings stay on your phone. Back up your wildlife journal, with or without your original photos, as a local archive, to Google Drive, or with your phone's share menu.
