LonelyDen is a quiet pocket field guide for the outdoor naturalist — the kind of
person who pulls off a trail because something rustled in the brush, and who keeps
a list of every animal they have ever seen. It brings track identification, a
curated wildlife atlas, a personal sightings logbook, and a seasonal activity
calendar together in one calm, offline-friendly app for the whole forest — not
just one slice of it.

When you find a print in the mud, a pile of scat, a claw-marked tree, or hear a
call at dusk, open Identify. Pick the kind of sign you found and walk through a
short set of plain questions — how many toes, are the claws showing, how big, what
gait — until the candidates narrow to a few species you can compare side by side.

Browse the Atlas when you want to learn for its own sake. Every species has its
photographs, a stylised range map painted onto the continent it lives on, its
size, diet, active hours, lifespan and conservation status, the shape of the print
its feet leave, a note on its scat, and its call played back through your phone —
with a half-speed mode for learning the sound. Photos come from the open Wikimedia
Commons project and every image is credited inside the app.
