Well is a quiet, well-mannered water intake tracker drawn in the visual language of a Romanian courtyard well — the kind of stone-rimmed shaft you still find tucked into the back gardens of old Bucharest houses, with a bucket on a rope and moss creeping up the rim. The interface borrows that calm: deep forest night, cream typography, clear spring-blue water, sage moss highlights, sunrise amber accents.

The home screen is built around a single object — the well itself, seen from above. The hero of the screen is a large stone-rimmed circle: as you draw water through the day, the spring-blue water inside rises toward the rim. In the centre of the well, white numerals show "1.24 L of 2.00 L"; below the well, a small status line tells you either how much you have left to draw, or that the goal is met for today.

The layout is different from a typical tracker. Instead of stacking everything vertically, the three statistics — TODAY total, STREAK days, WEEK average — sit in a compact strip at the TOP of the screen, just under the brand, so you see them the moment the app opens. Below them is the hero well. Below the well is a row of four wooden-bowl-shaped quick-draw buttons (Sip / Glass / Cup / Bottle) — one tap logs the corresponding pour. Below those is a HORIZONTAL scrollable TIMELINE of today's pours: each entry is a small chip with the time, the amount and a short kind tag — tap to remove. Different from a vertical log: more compact, more glanceable, and the day reads as a thread of beads rather than a stack of lines.

Tapping the menu icon opens the BASIN — the historical view. A 14-day bar chart at the top, with a sage horizontal goal line drawn across, then a scrollable list of the last 30 days. Each day shows the relative day name ("Today", "Yesterday", "Monday", "Mar 14"), a green GOAL badge when you hit it, the day's total, a fill bar, and the number of pours.

The settings live in the WATERWORKS. There you can:
• Adjust the daily draw target in 100 ml steps (1.0 L – 4.5 L; or fluid ounces if you prefer)
• Switch units between metric (ml / L) and US fluid ounces
• Re-size each of the four quick-draw vessels (Sip / Glass / Cup / Bottle)
• Toggle haptic feedback on button taps
• Toggle between Forest Night and a clean day palette

The app remembers up to a year of entries on the device. There is no account, no cloud, no sync — everything you draw lives only on your phone. Records older than a year are pruned to keep the database small. The Basin is yours to keep or to drain.

Well doesn't nag, doesn't send notifications, doesn't try to gamify hydration. It just gives you a quiet shaft to look at: water rising toward the rim, a streak that grows by being kept, a basin of past days that fills as you keep going.
