Grid Maker - For Artists

GridMaker is a grid overlay and drawing reference for artists, painters, and designers. Put a customizable grid on any photo, break the picture into clear sections, and draw with more accurate proportions and perspective. It is built for the grid method, whether you are learning to sketch or finishing a detailed painting.

Work one square at a time. Set the grid in millimeters, match paper from A1 to A5 or enter a custom size, and crop the reference to your sheet. Turn on diagonal and radial guides for angles, portraits, and symmetry. Change line color, thickness, and opacity, and label rows and columns so each cell is easy to find.

Check the drawing as you go. Photograph your sketch and compare it with the original, side by side or as an overlay, or trace through a live camera view with the grid still in place. Pan and zoom stay in sync, and the canvas can be locked so a finger does not move the image. Tap the reference to identify a color and see a close colored-pencil match. Black and white, exposure, contrast, shadows, and highlights make tonal study easier before you commit to color.

GridMaker stays on your device. Photos, drawings, and projects are saved locally, work fully offline, and are never uploaded or shared.
