Verba is a vocabulary app. Every word comes back on the very day it is about to slip away. Two minutes a day, and your vocabulary grows instead of leaking out.

HOW IT WORKS
• Morning dictation. The words that are due, a couple of minutes, three buttons: don't know, partly, know. Verba decides what to review and when.
• Speak out loud. Say a phrase in the language you learn, and the app shows what it heard and how else you could have put it.
• Story of the day. Verba weaves today's words into one short text at your level and reads it out loud. A word in context holds better than a word in a list.
• Marathon and Word catcher, for days when the morning set is not enough.

Memory lets go on a curve, not off a cliff, and Verba counts along that curve. Answer that you know a word and it waits four days, then ten, then twenty-five. Every return buys more time than the one before, so the queue keeps getting lighter while the words stay put.

A READY-MADE DICTIONARY FOR EVERY LANGUAGE
Six languages to learn, CEFR levels, pronunciation, example sentences and an interface in seven languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Lithuanian and Russian. Lithuanian comes with stress marks and word forms.
