Vault For Us is a private, end-to-end encrypted vault for your whole family. Documents, saved website and bank logins, a shared calendar, reminders, notes, expenses, emergency information and more, in one place every member opens from their own phone.

Your files are encrypted on your phone before anything is sent, with a key that only your passkey or your recovery code can open. Saved logins sit behind a second key that opens only with a fresh passkey confirmation, or with that recovery code. The server stores ciphertext and never holds a key that opens your files or passwords.

Sign-in is a passkey and only a passkey. There is no email login, no password login and no magic link. If every device is lost, the recovery code you saved at sign-up restores access after a 48-hour wait that nobody at Vault For Us can shorten, or in minutes if another family member approves it from their device.

What you can do in the app
- Keep documents, scan new ones with the camera, and read their text on your phone (nothing is sent for reading).
- Save website and bank logins and share them with the people you choose.
- Share a family calendar, reminders, notes, subscriptions and shared bills.
- Store emergency information, name emergency contacts and set up a legacy plan for your family.
- Plan family occasions, keep a family tree, record voice notes for a time capsule.
- Get reminders as notifications that never show your private titles or notes on the lock screen.
- Let each member choose how they hear about reminders and tagged items: a notification, an email or a WhatsApp message. WhatsApp stays off until a member confirms their number, and a message never says what a record contains.

Made for privacy
- No advertising, no analytics and no trackers in the app.
- Nothing readable from your vault is placed in system search, widgets or notifications.
