Family Vault is a simple, secure place to keep your family's most important data — national ID numbers, document numbers, and personal details of your loved ones — always at hand and protected by strong encryption.

The app is built on a zero-knowledge principle: your data never leaves your phone. No accounts, no cloud, no servers. Just you and your password.

SECURITY FIRST
• AES-256-GCM encryption — the same standard that protects banking and government data.
• Authenticated encryption detects any attempt to tamper with your file.
• Your key is derived from your password using PBKDF2 (over 100,000 iterations, a unique salt per vault).
• Decrypted data exists only in memory during an active session and is wiped the moment you lock the app or switch it to the background.
