U-Stand is an emotional health management tool that helps you gently observe your own patterns of change by briefly recording your daily emotions, sleep, and activity flow.

It is not a tool for diagnosis or prescription. U-Stand serves as a guide to help users better understand their own flow of change and receive appropriate help when needed.

[Principles for Handling Emotional Health]

U-Stand adheres to the following principles.

- We do not use emotional records, health data, or activity assistance data as the sole basis for medical diagnosis.

- We prioritize individual cold periods and baselines, and do not determine a user's condition based solely on absolute values.

- We do not use HealthKit or activity data for advertising, tracking, or third-party sales purposes.

- Research analysis is conducted only within the scope of IRB approval, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.

- For data from minor users, we operate a joint consent process involving the institution and guardians.

[Security and Privacy]

- We separate access scopes for general users, administrators, and super administrators using Supabase authentication and role-based permissions.

- Sensitive information, such as emotional free notes, is processed in a de-identified and summarized form whenever possible, and AI-assisted reports primarily use de-identified aggregated data.

- Users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or withdrawal of consent for their personal information at any time.

[User Guide]

- You can sign up with your own consent if you are 14 years of age or older. For those under 14, a guardian consent process is required.

- Institutional Mode is provided in accordance with implementation contracts with schools, youth counseling and welfare centers, mental health welfare centers, etc.

- Users can easily log in using Apple, Google, or Kakao accounts.

[Permission Usage Guide]

- Location (GPS): Used only to verify entry and exit within the attendance radius in Institutional Mode.

- HealthKit, Motion: Sleep, heart rate, and activity data are used as auxiliary indicators of emotional flow only if the user has granted permission.

- Notifications: Used for record reminders, report notifications, and safety check alerts.

[Digital Phenotyping-based Assisted Analysis]

- Analyzes non-verbal input behavior metadata, such as reaction times on emotion input screens, free-form typing patterns, and backspace usage.

- This is part of the Digital Phenotyping approach proposed by Onnela et al. (Harvard, 2016) and is intended to assist with self-reported reliability.

- This is not lie detection and is not used for advertising, tracking, or external sales.
