Features & Capabilities

Merge Apps & Tabs is a Chrome extension designed to bring back the popular "Merge apps & tabs" feature that Google silently removed shortly after its initial release in Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). This extension enhances your browser experience by integrating your recent browsing history directly into your recent tasks overview, accessible via the navigation bar (the ▢ button).

With this extension, every new tab you open appears as an independent card within your recent apps, allowing seamless switching between browser tabs from anywhere on your device. Making Apps & Tabs your default browser even enables opening links from other apps as separate cards, boosting multitasking capabilities. Privacy is a priority — the extension only stores your recent browsing history locally and does not transmit personal data off your device. Discover additional settings and options via the extension’s menu to customize your browsing experience.

Hidden superman. Best app in Playstore. If you browse a lot like me you can't afford to miss this little gem. With this, there is no need to download many browsers. No more heavy load in memory when many tabs are opened. This deserves more than 5 stars.
