For example, a three-year $10,000 personal loan may include an interest rate of 9.38% and a 9.99% origination fee, resulting in a 16.74% annual percentage rate, or APR. In this example, the borrower would receive $9,001.00 and make 36 scheduled monthly payments of $319.77.

A five-year $10,000 personal loan may include an interest rate of 11.14% and a 9.99% origination fee, resulting in a 15.84% APR. In this example, the borrower would receive $9,001.00 and make 60 scheduled monthly payments of $218.12.

Origination fees may range from 1% to 9.99%. Personal loan APRs through Upward range from 8.99% to 35.99%, with the lowest rates generally available to the most creditworthy borrowers. Eligibility for personal loans up to $50,000 depends on the information provided by the applicant during the application process.

Personal loan eligibility is not guaranteed. Approval may require that a sufficient number of investors commit funds to the borrower’s account and that the borrower satisfies applicable credit and other conditions.
