Calm Corner

Calm Corner is a quiet, safe space that helps children settle big feelings — at their own pace, with no pressure and no way to "get it wrong."

Built for autistic and neurodivergent kids (and calming for anyone), Calm Corner keeps things simple and predictable on purpose.

A breathing bubble gently expands and contracts to guide slow breaths, with soft "in… hold… out…" cues.

One Calm Dial turns the whole experience up or down — speed, glow, and sound — with a single slide, so a child in overload can soften everything at once.

Soothing fidgets to tap, squish, spin, and pop — satisfying, tactile, and endlessly repeatable.

Gentle ambient sounds (rain, waves, a soft hum) that fade in and out instead of starting abruptly.

A Calm Kit where kids can save their favorite tools for one-tap access.

Gentle affirmations (optional) — quiet, reassuring words that fade in and out, never demanding or evaluative.

Made with care for how it feels:
• No accounts, no ads, no data collection. Nothing ever leaves the device.
• Works fully offline — a calming tool should work instantly, anywhere.
• No pop-ups, no rewards, no "wrong answers." Nothing to fail.
• Caregiver controls behind a simple code: choose which fidgets appear, reduce motion, mute sound, pick a calming color, and more.
• Respects accessibility settings like Reduce Motion.

Calm Corner isn't a game to win or a program to finish. It's just a quiet corner your child can return to whenever they need one.
