UPDATE: THEY FIXED IT! 😍 OLD: I really wanted to love this but it just doesn't work well! First, it's not explained upfront that if I don't turn on deep focus, then it won't know whether I'm using other apps. I thought if I left the app, the bean would stop knitting. If you turn on deep focus, and you try to open another app it shows a pop-up to go back to Focus Friend. BUT, if you open the distracting app from the recents menu, you can use it all you want so you can cheat easily!

Really enjoy this timer design and reward system. love decorating my room when I get enough socks. only improvement would be a notification or sound alert when the timer is up, so I can let myself take a break or continue focusing. Hopefully the fix for that will be soon. It is a little annoying to turn on my screen to keep checking on the timer to see how many minutes I have left. Defeats the purpose of focusing while being distracted checking on how much time I have left.
