2026-07-30	La*****	Spend hours just trying to get it the 2 strands into the app. And now we can't even get them to map. It has taken 2 of us. Without being able to map them we can't use all their features. I'm about to ready to box up these stupid lights and return to them. They are awful to set up.

2026-07-15	In*****	Works well until there's an update. Device setup is convoluted and often requires network workarounds. But the worst part is that app updates routinely break active connections, risking entire smart home integration and custom layouts. The last update completely botched my setup, taking a frustrating hour of hardware resets and manual re-pairing to fix.

2026-07-13	V *****	the app update continually and disconnects, will not reconnect, only after hours and hours of troubleshooting, every couple of months. This time 7/7/26, won't reconnect at all. Terrible!

2026-07-10	Fa*****	New TOS and migration transfer wiped years of custom light settings. Started up app, was logged out, logged back in, had to agree to new TOS, and... all custom lights missing. My lights are still mapped, but everything else is gone. *Update: Twinkly just sent out this notice: "The migration did not affect your Twinkly devices, settings or content, which will continue to be available." Except I'm still sitting here looking at all my custom light patterns and colors having gone missing.

2026-07-09	Av*****	July 2026, added a requirement to create an account and log in to use the products. Creating a new account does not work, there is no way to bypass this requirement either. Will not be using this app or buying anything from Twinkly again.
