Pros

Offers a decent selection of colors and effects for the lights.
Works well when connected properly, allowing for various modes and control options.
Holds the last setting for the lights even after the app is closed.

Cons

Frequent connectivity issues; often requires being very close to the lights.
App becomes unresponsive and needs to be reinstalled often.
Requires location permissions and has a complicated interface with other lights not owned by the user.
Updates have made previously working lights unusable for some users.

This came with a light I bought and a lot of times I can't get it to work at all unless the light is super close by my phone. But when the lights outside in the Winter and I can't control it from inside the house it's really inconvenient. When it works right though it is a cool application.

For some reason, this app requires location permission to work properly. I can connect to the light through an upstairs window, but I have to have Bluetooth and GPS turned on, and then scroll over to my light in the app. There's a decent choice of colors, color combinations, and effects. I would appreciate the ability to control the speed of the cascading effects, and an on and off schedule in the app itself. A simple timer would suffice; a smart device without either is lacking in smarts...
