User Reviews

Users praise Pool Math for easy tracking, accurate dosage guidance, and value with a paid plan for long-term pool chemistry tracking. However, frequent subscription gating, reliability problems, mandatory account creation, confusing UI, and misaligned chemical ranges are common complaints. Some users also want more features like multi-language and greater flexibility.

Pros

Easy to use and intuitive for tracking pool chemistry
Accurate dosage calculations and customizable set points
Good value for the paid subscription / affordable yearly price
Strong support for long-term tracking of pool chemistry and test results

Cons

Subscription model gates core functionality (needs subscription to log more than one entry; perceived as upsell/misleading)
Reliability and stability issues (bugs, crashes, freezes; issues when resubscribing)
Mandatory account creation and login; difficulty in demoing without signing up; data loss on reinstall or reset
Confusing user interface with incomplete instructions and missing calculator/tools
Ranges and recommendations sometimes misaligned with industry standards (e.g., CA) leading to conflicting notices

I've been using your app for years with no issues. I recently got a new phone and it doesn't recognize that I have a paid subscription. Please advise. Thank you

I downloaded this app because for the pool calculator. When I tap on the icon for the calculator, it takes me to the advertisement for the calculator, but there is no where to actually download the calculator. They did welcome me to pool math and want me to complete a bunch of information. I am uninstalling it. I hope I don't start getting a bunch of junk mail now they have my email address.
