Social Network Clicker

Welcome to the digital economy.

You start in a garage with a second-hand computer, an unreliable internet connection, and a revolutionary idea: building a social network. Well, “revolutionary” might be pushing it… but the investors haven’t asked too many questions yet.

Every tap brings in new users. More users mean more posts, more data, and, most importantly, an excellent reason to buy more servers.

Your garage becomes a server room. The server room becomes a data center. The data center becomes a global infrastructure relied upon by billions of people, several governments, and probably a few defense systems. At that point, slowing down would be irresponsible.

Recruit friends, manufacture trends, deploy bot farms, and turn every problem into a growth opportunity. If the numbers stop going up, a strategic pivot will give you a fresh start... meaning exactly the same thing, but with more funding.

There may eventually be consequences. The legal department will handle them.

Social Network Clicker is a satirical idle game about building the most powerful social network on the planet, one perfectly reasonable decision at a time.
