Apna godam Finance has two Loan products which are provided to the Customers in the Grain Commerce Industry.
• Commodity Pledge Finance
Any farmer or trader who has the stock of Agri Commodity can avail Pledge finance facility and can wait for better price. Since entire harvesting is done in a particular month hence there is always supply pressure in the market due to which the price of the commodity goes down. During this period if the seller is giving storage facility and finance facility then it helps the seller to wait for better price.

Hence it is a practice that the Agriculturists and commodity traders deposit the commodity in the warehouse and the warehouse service providers (WSP) keeps the stock safe. If the depositor is willing to avail some loan by pledging the stock then customer submits Loan request online on the WSP Platform.

Once the WSP receives loan request from the customer the information regarding the stock like Warehouse Name, Commodity, Weight , No of Bags, Value of Stock and insurance details etc. are provided in the form of Warehouse Receipt (WR) .

Warehouse Receipt (WR) is issued online by WSP to the Apna godam finance Platform then WSP marks hypothecation on the stock in its database so that the customer is not allowed to withdraw the Commodity.

When the loan is repaid by the customer then only stock is unlien by the WSP and then only the stock can be taken out of the warehouse by the Customer.

This way commodity finance is a Loan which is given to customer in coordination with the WSP of the customer.


B) Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL)
When any buyer of the commodity purchase the produce online and there is no enough balance in the wallet balance then Apna godam Finance give a credit line to the customer. Due to this facility the customer is able to purchase the produce online even if the balance is short in the wallet.
Onboarding : When the customer places order on the trading platform and the fund is short then the trading platform redirects the customer to the Apna godam Finance application and the KYC process / CIBIL and Dedupe is done and onboarding is done. The Platform uses APIs to perform these actions.
Disbursement : The customer when exercise the option of BNPL line then the amount is released to the respective platform immediately and the utilization of the limit is marked in the database and the interest starts accruing.
Repayment : To repay the BNPL line the customer needs to fund the wallet and from the wallet the customer can repay the BNPL lines along with interest. This line is revolving in natured and once the line is restored then it can be again used for another transaction.

This way the Apna godam finance portal provides credit to the customer in the grain commerce industry at the various touch points.
