I'm revising my rating. I've had nothing but problems with Step the past couple of months & customer service is non existent. Won't let me apply for borrow because it won't let me connect the banking app where I get way more than the necessary amount in deposits a month. Can't get a hold of customer service. I no longer recommend Step banking.

Fairly useless app - with a subscription fee. I applied using a mainstream bank account, with well over $1,000 in it, and it didn't get approved for any cash advance AT ALL. Considering other apps will easily approve me, in seconds, it's clear that this is a waste of time and money - as you give them your personal info. I'd avoid this company and go elsewhere like Dave or Klover.
