Dragon Quest III on Android offers a nostalgic yet updated classic RPG experience with engaging gameplay, strong party customization, and mobile-friendly controls. However, recurring issues include occasional crashes causing lost save data, UI design problems like controller covering the screen and tap registration errors, and missing animations or minigames that somewhat detract from immersion. Recent reviews

Phenominal, just like the previous two entries. Replaying them as an adult has been an amazing experience and invokes a sense of nostalgia that makes me miss all those timea i played them with older cousins as a child. I do have one gripe with this version though and its nothing that cant be worked around - if the app is launched though a google search bar it has a tendency to cut of a potion on the horizontal edges of the screen. Cant wait to replay the rest of the titles in the store.

Played this game originally on the NES. This version is obviously much improved while building on and making more accessible what made the original one great, especially with regard to the class system. This has to be one of the best RPGs involving choosing the classes of your party members, allowing you to have a party of one to four members, and especially in the ability to change your party members classes while maintaining previously learned spells.
