User Reviews

Snackpass reviews show a mixed to negative sentiment. The most recurring issues are privacy and location requirements, limited local discovery (no map, only nearby listings), frequent crashes and poor performance, sign-up and verification problems, reward redemption problems and perceived discount misrepresentation, and weak customer support. Many users report being unable to sign up or order, or facing card charge failures. A few mention good store staff or occasional usable experiences, but overall the app's reliability and privacy handling are the top concerns.

Pros

Rewards program can provide real value when it works.
Some partner stores and staff are praised for their service.
The app can function decently for some users.

Cons

Overbearing location permissions and privacy concerns, with limited local discovery (only nearby listings; removal of map/zip-based search).
Frequent bugs, crashes, and slow performance.
Sign-up/verification and account-management problems (phone verification failures, sign-up freezes, updating phone numbers).
Rewards misrepresentation and difficult redemption, plus slow or unhelpful customer support.
Limited local availability and removal of map/search features, making it hard to find places.

Recent reviews

App doesn't even work. Kept getting an upload error and saying network request failed. Then no other options to leave that screen or do anything else. After seeing other reviews, this looks like it's been an issue since at least June/July! And they haven't bothered to even fix it? Yet they continue to have ads up for it... seems like just a scam to get your info then. I would NOT recommend downloading this app. 😕
