Updated into inefficiency. See other recent reviews. And RetailGIS you are in error. This version does require an internet connection to take pics in the app. I don't care if it's not supposed to, it does. We're the ones walking from the backroom to the front door to get outside and pick up enough of a signal so we can run back to the receiving room to take the 4th picture of it in the last half hour. So don't tell us it doesn't, just fix the bug!

You need to fix the app. When I take pictures in the store the system boots me back to the log in page. It sometimes takes 6 or 7 tries to get the picture to upload. Bring back the option to take the picture and then allow us to upload from our photos. DG internet is terrible. If zi can take the picture I can upload it when I get home where the internet is stronger It should not take me 30 minutes after a project to report it. Also why a photo of the backroom for every project.

This is one of the most time consuming parts of my project. It causes me to stay at the store location between an extra 2-4 hours because it crashes so much. And then more than half the time it will not let me add the inventory of products. I'm not too happy with this at all. You can't expect someone to have their project done at an expected time when the equipment(app) we're using crashes when it's time to take pictures.

Bring back the option to select pictures from camera roll. Walking to the back room four times to take four different pictures is ridiculous! My app is updated to the current version and it is horrible. Fix it. This is costing us time and money. Store wifi is awful. Edit: updated to most recent version. Same garbage.

From what I've been told by my DM, the change to taking pictures in the app and not storing them in a gallery is intentional, the need for a pic of the backroom and the LOA for each section is not. DL is trying to solve the problem of reps storing and reusing pics from job to job. Hence, they want pictures to be "live" and taken right then. However, he also said that DG does not need or want multiple pictures of the same backroom (or LOA) in each project. Please fix this. Such a waste of time

The app does not work properly. If you take a photo, it kicks you out, to sign back in, then to retake the photo again. Sometimes when you take a photo the connection won't be so good and just not process it at all. Using your Wi-Fi or the Dollar General Wi-Fi does not fix any problem. Putting your phone on airplane mode does not fix any problem. When uploading work, it uploads for a bit then stop saying it's a failure, so you have to sign out then sign back in to re-upload again.

App closes Everytime I try to take a picture for the work order. Takes twice as long to close out the project because the app restarts with every pic I try toQa take. (This seems to be fixed) But now I have to take pics as I go through the work order, I can no longer use photos from my gallery which makes it take longer to close out since I have to make several trips to the back room.

The app developers manage to make the app worse with every update. So talented! First, you should be able to use your phones back button but instead you have to use the built-in one which clicks back through every single question just to get back to project instructions. Second, now that the Gallery button has been removed you have to go back and forth across a store to complete each section of a project. I'll be shocked when an update is actually decent!

Edit: Today was day 16 with the app consistently crashing. Since the updates started a couple weeks ago the app has been crashing 15 to 30 times while trying to close out assignments. It now takes 10x the time to close assignments. 6.31 has been the worst. PLEASE SOMEONE FIX THIS! YOUVE MADE MY JOB WAY HARDER THAN IT SHOULD BE! So frustrating! I also agree with everyone else about the updates making our jobs harder running around the store to take duplicate pictures. Ridiculous!

My app crashes constantly and connects when it wants to. I have to connect to the stores wifi just to upload my work orders. When I take a picture it crashes. When I upload from my camera roll it crashes. Sometimes the signature screen turns black and you can't see anything not will it let me delete and resign? I have deleted and reinstalled it so many times and I am tired of my time being wasted. My company does not reimburse me for that time wasted. There has to be a better way than this.
