The Panic Button is a personal safety tool designed to provide peace of mind and quick assistance in critical situations. With a single touch, you can alert your loved ones when you need them most.

Main Features:
• Instant Alert: Sends emergency SMS messages to up to 5 contacts simultaneously.

• Real-Time Location: Shares your exact location and allows it to update automatically every 3 minutes during an emergency.

• Audio Recording: Records audio during the emergency. Recordings are stored only on your device.

• Quick Access: You can activate the alert from a widget on your home screen, a quick setting (tile), or using the volume button, depending on the device's settings.

• Silent Mode: Allows you to discreetly request help without activating sounds or visual signals when the alert is activated.

• Direct Call: Allows you to configure an emergency number to make a quick call. Background Operation
Panic Button uses Android features that allow the emergency mechanism to remain available when the application is not visible on the screen, according to the permissions and settings authorized by the user.
Use of the Accessibility API
The application uses the Android AccessibilityService API as part of its user-configured emergency activation mechanism. This API allows the application to detect the configured activation interaction or event to trigger the alert function when the application is not in the foreground.

The AccessibilityService is used exclusively for this emergency function. It is not used to read passwords, messages, content from other applications, or to collect information that is not necessary for the declared function.
The information obtained through this function is used solely to execute the user-configured alert mechanism and is not shared with third parties for purposes unrelated to the emergency function.

Use of AccessibilityService requires the user to explicitly grant the corresponding permission in Android. The user can review, enable, or disable this permission in the device settings.

Important: The Panic Button is an assistance tool and does NOT replace official emergency services, such as 911. In a dangerous situation, always use the appropriate official services.
