Features & Capabilities

The SIG BDX Chrome extension revolutionizes hunting accuracy by syncing Applied Ballistics data between KILO BDX rangefinders and SIERRA3BDX riflescopes via Bluetooth®. This seamless integration illuminates the exact holdover dot on your riflescope, ensuring ethical and precise shots up to 800 yards with 1 MOA accuracy.

Getting started is straightforward: download the app, sync it with your rangefinder, bond it to your riflescope, and begin ranging targets with the press of a button. The intelligent power selector ring on the riflescope confirms active pairing with a solid blue LED and notifies reticle updates with quick flashes. SIG BDX truly embodies the motto: For the most accurate and ethical shot, just Connect The Dot™.

User Reviews

Reviews praise the ballistic data and rangefinder integration when they work, but recurring Android crashes and device-connection failures are the dominant complaints. Users also report regressions after updates, including lost profiles or broken device features, and say ballistic data and controls need more options. Experiences vary: some users find the app useful and accurate, while others cannot reliably open or connect it.

Pros

Ballistic calculations and data sent to rangefinders are useful and have been described as accurate.
Some users report that the app’s features work well when the app is connected.

Cons

Repeated crashes and inability to open the app, often after updates and especially on Android.
Frequent connection, pairing, and Wi-Fi problems with rangefinders, scopes, and thermal devices.
Updates have disrupted features, firmware updates, or saved custom profiles and settings.
Several users want more ballistic options and customization, such as additional ammunition profiles, drag curves, and zero-offset settings.
