ShiftTracker is the on-shift companion app for frontline security officers and guards. It connects you to your control room so every shift is logged, verified and accountable, from the moment you arrive at your post to the moment you book off. Every shift, proven.

Your employer or agency sets up your account and issues your sign-in details, so there is nothing to register. The app is provided to officers at no cost; your employer runs the ShiftTracker platform. Sign in with the credentials you were given and you are ready to work.

WHAT YOU CAN DO ON SHIFT

Your rota, always with you
See your upcoming shifts, schedule and shift details at a glance, including the site and post information you need before you arrive.

Geofenced book-on and book-off
Confirm you are at the correct post with location-verified book-on and book-off. Location is captured only when you book on, book off or answer a check-call, so your control room can see you started and finished where you should, with no disputed timesheets.

Check-calls and lone-worker check-ins
Respond to scheduled welfare check-calls during your shift and complete lone-worker check-ins to confirm all is well. These are employer welfare-coordination tools that help your control room keep in touch. They are not an emergency or personal-safety service, and not a replacement for calling 999.

Reports and forms, even offline
Submit incident reports, patrol logs and site checklists straight from your phone, with photo and video attachments. Forms work offline and sync automatically once you are back online, so a weak signal never holds up your paperwork.

Stay in the loop
Receive operational broadcasts and notifications from the control room, and get push alerts for your shifts and check-calls.

Leave, vetting and your profile
Request and track time off, submit leave applications, complete screening and vetting steps, and manage your profile, including your SIA licence details, all in one place.

ShiftTracker is designed for SIA-licensed officers working in manned guarding. (We are not affiliated with, endorsed or certified by the Security Industry Authority.) Your data is UK-hosted and the platform is built to be UK GDPR-aligned.

PERMISSIONS WE USE
- Location (while you are using the app): used to confirm you are at the correct post when you book on, book off and answer check-calls. Location is captured only when you take one of these actions, not in the background.
- Camera and photos: to capture and attach photos and video to incident reports and forms.
- Notifications: for shift reminders and check-call alerts.
