PocketLinux - Linux on Android

PocketLinux brings a real Linux environment to Android phones and tablets without root, dual boot, or a PC. Launch a full desktop with windows, menus, and file management, or use the built-in terminal for shell commands, scripts, package installation, and Linux practice. Debian and Arch are available, with support for coding tools such as Python, Git, compilers, and other developer utilities.

PocketLinux is designed for students, developers, and anyone who wants a portable Linux workspace. Access phone storage, install packages with apt or pacman, and use Linux in desktop modes such as Samsung DeX. The free version supports one container at a time with daily session limits, while Premium adds longer sessions, multiple containers, and backup and restore. Root-dependent features such as kernel modules and standard Docker are not supported.
