TAX DEDUCTIBLE CATEGORIES, NOT BUDGET ONES
A tax deductible expense is only useful if it is filed the way a return expects. Every category in TaxPocket carries the code an accountant recognises, so a year of receipts arrives already sorted rather than as a pile to be sorted.

DEDUCTIONS THAT MATCH YOUR COUNTRY
The deductible categories adapt to where you file. US users get Schedule C lines, UK users get SA103 boxes, and users in India get Section 80C, Section 80D, GST input credit and the professional presumptive line. The tax year starts on the right date in each, so quarterly tax is counted against the correct year.

A QUARTERLY TAX ESTIMATE
Enter the rate you expect to pay. Each quarter then shows the tax deductible expenses recorded against it and roughly what they are worth at that rate. It is an estimate for planning, not tax advice, and you can open any receipt behind any figure.

SCAN A RECEIPT, EVEN OFFLINE
Merchant, date, total and tax are read from the photo and filled in, and every field stays editable. Receipts are stored on the device the instant you take them and finish processing when you are back on a connection. Manual entry is always available.

EXPORT FOR YOUR RETURN
Export tax deductible expenses as CSV for a spreadsheet or bookkeeping tool, or as a PDF with the receipt images embedded. Send it to your accountant, or file it yourself.

HOW YOUR RECEIPTS ARE HANDLED
Receipt images are sent to OpenRouter for one purpose: reading the text on them. They are not used to train models. Manual entry is there if you would rather no image left your phone. Account deletion is in the app and removes everything.
