In a software update they have unexpectedly and irreversibly removed the bluetooth remote controlling feature, and the older version of the app won't work anymore. They did so, so that they can sell you their own BT remote device for an extra $100. They claim this is for a security reason, but with the BT range of max 10m or 10 yards the mower must be very close to your phone that means it won't move unattended.

2023-06-10	Ri*****	EDIT 2021: now also requires an account in order to work at all. Will actively recommend friends to buy something else than Robomow. Updated review 2020. This version 2.0 now can connect to RS615u, but they have removed the function to manually steer and cut grass. Totally unacceptable.

2023-04-22	Ma*****	With app 2.3.2.1, the latest firmware (winter 2022/23), and a Fairphone 4, the app finally connects to my RC 304 Pro. Progress after several years of not connecting, so kudos. The app also looks nicer although the features haven't changed much. In any case, though, the mower itself has worked very well and reliably for several years, so that's great and I'm always very happy to have it!
