DSE 物理溫習精讀 Physics Revision

DSE Physics Review App is a study application designed for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) Physics subject. It combines key notes, practice questions, and vocabulary cards for nine topics in one place, allowing for offline review anytime.

Why Use This App?

The app aligns its topics with publicly available physics curriculum and assessment guidelines. All questions are original and include explanations, showing you why you got them right or wrong.

- 580 practice questions, each with an explanation

- 326 vocabulary cards to help you recall definitions, formulas, symbols, and units

- 9 key notes, one page per topic

- Customizable quizzes: Choose your topics and number of questions, with a countdown timer option

- Incorrect questions are automatically categorized, allowing you to focus on weaker topics

- Clear overview of your mastery level for each topic

Single-step explanations for calculation problems

Calculation problems are often the most challenging part of physics. All calculation problems here are solved step-by-step: one formula, one substitution, clean numbers, and can be completed mentally or with pen and paper. Each calculation problem's explanation clearly shows the formula, substitution, result, and units, making the entire derivation process crystal clear. Approximately one in four questions is a calculation, while the rest test concepts, definitions, direct and inverse proportions, graph interpretation, unit identification, and experimental reasoning. All questions are multiple-choice: this is a review tool in multiple-choice format, not a full-fledged written exam.

Easy switching between English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese

Many students understand concepts in Chinese but answer in English, resulting in lost points due to mismatched terminology. This app provides three languages for every question, explanation, and vocabulary card, easily switchable with a tap on the homepage: first clarify the concept in your familiar language, then switch back to English to check the terminology.

Nine topics covered:

Five compulsory topics, required for everyone:

- Heat and Gases: Temperature, Heat and Internal Energy, Heat Transfer Processes, Changes of State, Gases

- Force and Motion: Position and Movement, Force and Motion, Projectile Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Momentum, Uniform Circular Motion, Gravity

- Waves: Nature and Properties of Waves, Light, Sound

- Electricity and Magnetism: Electrostatics, Circuits and Household Electricity, Electromagnetism

- Radiation and Nuclear Energy: Radiation and Radioactivity, Atomic Models, Nuclear Energy

Four elective topics, all included, ensuring no omission regardless of school's choice of two topics:

- Astronomy and Space Science: The Universe on Different Spatial Scales, The History of Astronomy, Orbital Motion under Gravity, Stars and the Universe

- The Atomic World: Rutherford's Atomic Model, Photoelectric Effect, Bohr's Hydrogen Atom Model, Particles or Waves, Exploring the Nanoscale World

- Energy and Energy Use: Household Electricity, Energy Efficiency in Building and Transportation, Renewable and Non-renewable Energy

- Medical Physics: Sensory Functions of the Eye and Ear, Non-ionizing Radiation Medical Imaging, Ionizing Radiation Medical Imaging

Understand First, Then Master

Each topic begins with a page of key notes, listing main concepts, vocabulary, and common mistakes. After reading, jump directly to the practice questions for the same topic. This is a review tool, not a mock exam, so there is no passing score. It only shows your level of mastery for each topic, letting you know which lesson to focus on next.

Review the Way You Want

- Completely offline, no login, no account required

- No ads, your progress stays only on your device

- One-time purchase, permanent ownership, no subscription

- Each topic includes free questions and vocabulary cards; try before you buy

- Restore purchases to the same account when switching devices

Every point in DSE Physics affects your JUPAS grade. Instead of aimlessly flipping through the book, understand each topic, master it, and identify any gaps in your knowledge. This DSE Physics review guide will take you from heat and gases all the way to medical physics.
