Clipboard to Speech Android

Clipboard to Speech

Tap the floating bubble to hear copied text read aloud - fast and private

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Clipboard to Speech turns any text you just copied into speech with a single tap — no need to open the app or paste anywhere.

HOW IT WORKS
Once turned on, a small bubble floats over every screen and every app. Copy any text (messages, emails, articles, documents...), tap the bubble, and hear it read aloud instantly. Drag the bubble anywhere you like, or drag it down onto the X at the bottom of the screen to turn it off quickly.

KEY FEATURES
• A floating bubble that's always ready — tap once to read, no need to switch apps
• Automatic Vietnamese / English language detection, or choose manually
• Adjustable reading speed, pitch, volume, and a separate boost level
• Automatically skips content that looks like an OTP code or password to protect you
• Optional high-quality Google Cloud TTS voices (requires your own API key)
• Adds a Quick Settings tile to start reading straight from the status bar
• Integrates with the text-selection Share menu — pick "Read with Clipboard to Speech" from any app
• Vietnamese and English interface, simple to use, no ads

WHO IS IT FOR?
• People with their hands full who'd rather listen than read — while driving, cooking, exercising
• People who are visually impaired or find small on-screen text hard to read
• Language learners who want to hear the correct pronunciation of a passage
• Anyone who wants to get through long messages or emails faster without staring at the screen

PRIVACY
Clipboard to Speech only reads clipboard content when you actively tap the bubble, choose "Read with Clipboard to Speech" from the Share menu, or tap the Quick Settings tile — it doesn't automatically track or store your copy history. All speech processing happens on your device, unless you turn on the optional cloud voice feature (in which case the copied text is sent to Google Cloud for processing). You can turn Clipboard to Speech off at any time with a single button.

The app needs the "Display over other apps" permission to draw the floating bubble — this is required for the tap-to-read feature to work on top of any screen.
