Your Android phone must have compatible IR hardware for wireless control of a TV, soundbar, or other infrared-enabled device.

If your phone does not have an IR transmitter, physical device control will not be available. Supported testing or interface features may still be available depending on the device and app version.


TV Remote does not require an account to configure and use its basic remote-control features.

Configured remote profiles and preferences may be stored locally on your device. An internet connection is not required for sending infrared commands.

Some optional features, such as advertising, analytics, or other third-party services, may require an internet connection.
