- It tracks the nisab (gold or silver basis, your choice) and your hawl (lunar year) on the Hijri calendar, and tells you when zakat is due and how much.
- Deduct bills and debts due soon, add gold and silver by weight, and keep a history of what you have paid.
- Keep a sadaqah tally for the year alongside your zakat record.
