User Reviews

Users report that AppKiller can improve device performance by managing RAM and stopping background apps, and some praise its free, straightforward approach. However, many reviews flag persistent ads that interrupt usage, reliability issues where the app fails to clear or kill processes, and privacy concerns over data collection and cookies. Some users also cite bombardment with permissions prompts and update-related regressions. Overall, resource-management benefits are offset by ad-heavy UX and trust concerns.
Pros
  • RAM optimization and smoother device performance through efficient background-process management
  • Effective force-stop capability for background apps
  • Free to use with no upfront cost
Cons
  • Heavy, intrusive ads that disrupt the user flow
  • Inconsistent functionality; sometimes fails to clear/kill apps or behaves differently after updates
  • Privacy concerns due to data collection and frequent cookie/policy prompts
  • Frequent permission prompts and auto-start/permissions requirements

upgraded to Android 16 and UI 8.5 and it still hangs when using the manual force stop option. when trying to force stop applications, sometimes it takes three attempts to stop the running apps
