Pros
- Provides access to Reddit content including posts and videos.
- Allows users to follow and get notifications from groups or communities they are interested in.
- Has features for browsing, viewing images and videos, and commenting on posts.
- Offers native app experience for Reddit compared to browser usage.
- Supports basic user functionalities like saving posts and participating in discussions.
Cons
- Frequent bugs and crashes including slow loading times and videos that buffer indefinitely.
- Poor navigation and user interface issues such as confusing back button behavior and difficult access to home screen.
- Many important features from third-party apps are missing or removed, including text search, comment quoting, drafts, and better filtering options.
- Inconsistent or broken features such as notifications, chat/messaging, and saving posts not always working.
- Excessive and intrusive ads disrupting user experience, often designed to look like posts.
- Links from emails or external apps often don't open correctly in the app, leading users to use browsers instead.
- Multiple reviewers mention privacy or security concerns with links opening in a simulated browser rather than external trusted apps.

Reddit tanked third party apps because they're unable to make a good one for themselves. Edit: it's only gotten worse. There's no way to view a custom feed after making it, there's no way to automatically filter out posts based on flair or based on keywords in the title, and the video player has only gotten worse. Edit again: had to download this app to see a link someone sent but it doesn't open links properly so I uninstalled it again.

The browser is better. This app literally will not open links from the Reddit daily email, it just keeps refreshing the home page. The only way to access the links in the email is to open with browser. The browser also allows for text search within a post but this app does not. Surprisingly inferior experience for a first party forum app.
