2026-08-01	Ad*****	This app did not help my children with reading better and they keep charging my account after I have canceled several times. beware on website you can't cancel directly and its not under my manage my subscriptions and it says I have no account to cancel. so unless you want to spend 19.99 a month for nothing then go for it.

2026-07-31	ke*****	if you sign up for the one year membership after the free trial, you better be 100% certain that you want it for the full year, because there is zero refund if you try to cancel it 2 weeks late. The book options were too limited, so we decided to cancel it.

We have performed a full factory reset with no parental controls, and tested internal, wired, and Bluetooth headsets—all exhibit the exact same audio stream crash. Standard dictation in other apps works fine. The Readability app's WebRTC/audio capture session is crashing on this hardware profile.

2026-07-25	Fa*****	It was very frustrating for my daughter to read some of the books. When she came to things like onomatopoeias, it didn't matter how she said it, it didn't let her move forward. When she went to answer the comprehension questions, 3/4 times the AI chat was having issues and told her to try later. This app didn't help my already struggling reader. She was discouraged and upset that she was trying so hard and it didn't count.
