We tried it without paying. But there can't be any other background noise or it gets the answer wrong or right. Also, I didn't like how it read the sentence first. My child would just say one of the last words he heard instead of trying to read. When it would read "Steve is the cod hot?" (Or something like that), my son would say, "cod. Hot. Steve. Not." When I would correct him by saying, "That's not what it says. Let's try from the beginning." The bot would think my word was the correct ones.
