Softronica TV is a digital signage player and queue display designed for Android TV boxes managed by Softronica as part of a managed fleet. It is not a consumer application: it is intended for devices installed at service points (client offices, waiting rooms, counters) that autonomously display the queue for that service point and the client's site signage (videos and instructions).

Core Functions

- Queue Display: Shows the current number, service module, and the remaining queue on the public screen, updated in real time from the client's management system.

- Signage: Plays videos, images, and multimedia instructions between turns, with offline playback from a local cache to keep the content visible even if the device temporarily loses its network connection.

- Automatic Startup: The app starts automatically when the device is powered on and restores its work session without operator intervention, so the public screen is operational again after a power outage or restart.

Managed Connectivity (VPN Usage)

To enable the Softronica support team to remotely manage the device—diagnostics, updates, and recovery—the app maintains administrative connectivity over a virtual private network (VPN) on Softronica's internal network. The VPN is a management capability, not a VPN service offered to the user: it does not redirect traffic from other applications, monetize data, or collect personal information from users at the point of service.
