PortaPro: Field Operations

PortaPro Field Operations is the driver and technician app for companies that run on PortaPro: portable sanitation, septic, and roll-off operators. Your whole service day is on your phone, and the office sees the work as it gets done.

Today's route, ready when you are
Open the app and today's jobs are already there, in order. Each stop shows the site address, the units on site, the service history, and any notes from the office, so you know what to expect before you pull up to the gate.

Proof of service at every stop
Take photos of finished work, damaged units, blocked access, and site conditions. Photos attach to the service record with the time and place they were taken, so a question about a stop gets settled with a picture.

Scan units instead of typing
Scan the QR code or barcode on a unit to pull up the right one in a second. No squinting at serial numbers and no typos.

Know the moment something changes
Get a notification when a job is assigned to you, your route changes, or the office posts an announcement. Changes reach you in the field, not at the end of the day.

Talk to your team
Message the office and your crew in Team Chat, or use the push-to-talk walkie-talkie to reach everyone on a channel at once.

Locked with your fingerprint or face
Turn on the app lock and PortaPro opens only with your fingerprint or face unlock, so customer addresses and account details stay protected if a phone is left in a truck.

Built for working outside
Large buttons, clear high-contrast text, and simple screens made for people in the field in any weather.

Location sharing with your company
PortaPro Field Operations is a work app that companies use to manage and dispatch their field employees. While the app is open, it shares your location with your company: the office sees your truck on the dispatch map, customers get arrival times, and each completed stop records where it was done. The app asks before it uses your location, shows a "PortaPro is running" notification the whole time it is running, and does not collect your location when it is closed or in the background. You can turn location off at any time in your phone's settings.

Getting started
PortaPro Field Operations works with a PortaPro Software account. Drivers and technicians join their company's account by invitation from their office. Companies can learn more at portaprosoftware.com.
